I have a full time real people job that requires going into an office every day, and I also have a cat.
These statements are seemingly unrelated until you realize I love my furry lil bean and can't help but picking him up and snuggling his cuddly ass even when I'm dressed for work. This leaves a less-than-professional carpet of cat hair all over me because I have no willpower and I need to snuggle animals constantly. Obviously, I'm not going to stop hugging my cat so what's a girl to do? Flint has been an amazing salvation. I have regular lint rollers but I rarely remember to use them and by the time I think of it, it's almost always after I've already left the house. Flint is a retractable, reusable lint roller, and arguably the cutest lint roller I've ever seen. My Flint is bright orange and I keep it in my work bag- it's cute and bright and I see it and remember to de-cat-hair-ify and I no longer look half-woman-half-cat. It sounds like an idiotically simple solution, and maybe it is, but Flint has definitely become a product I use daily that improves my life- and I think that's all you can really ask of a product. The lint roller is well designed and sturdy, comes in a ton of colors- including metallics- which you can bet (hello, rose gold) are on my wishlist. Refills are also available making Flint the perfect choice for people on the go.

Balenciaga's Fall/Winter 17/18 line had more than a few nods to Bernie Sanders' logo on jackets and scarves. Coincidence? I think not. Dior makes a great feminist stand at the SS17 show in September, and the world is loving it. Read about Dior's feminist stand below via Vogue: Among the romantic dresses and fencing-inspired suiting on the runway at Maria Grazia Chiuri’s Dior debut was one piece that will have the fashion world talking. A T-shirt reading We Should All Be Feminists was paired with an embellished midnight blue tulle skirt and sneakers, instantly becoming the most Instagrammed moment of the entire show. The fact that Chiuri is the first female artistic director of the Dior maison was a much-discussed fact in the lead-up to her debut—and clearly one that she took to heart. The show notes also made a point of explaining how important feminism is to Chiuri: “Feminism is a recurring word for her.” What’s more, the Beyoncé song “Flawless,” which features Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s famous TEDx talk about feminism, played on the soundtrack. And the author was in the crowd. Turgeon Jewelers is a family owned jewelry store in Wethersfield, Connecticut. Check out the photos below for some great holiday gift ideas! Wanderer Bracelets is the coolest brand. I'm obsessed with the adorable handmade bracelets (From Bali!) with charms made from sustainably sourced water buffalo bone. The nylon thread is soft yet durable, and the range of designs is great. It's so easy to find one (or seven) that resonate with you. I gave my mom the peace sign- it was her favorite, and she's been obsessed ever since. I love the fish hook and the 'hang loose' ones, but I also love the feather. There are so many other precious designs, and the bracelets all support the best cause!
Local Bali artisans are making a livable income thanks to Wanderer Bracelets, and now I have the most adorable jewelry. Check out the bracelets here and the Wanderer Bracelet story here! I recently reached out to MeUndies, and they sent me over a few pairs to sample. I tried the Modal Thong and the Lacie Thong. The website claims that the Modal fabric is 3x softer than cotton, and I'd definitely agree. I heavily preferred the Lacie to the other waistband, because I found the lace to be more formfitting and comfortable, but both styles are great. I threw them in the wash with the rest of my clothes and dried them normally, and they came out fine.
They're comfy and well made, but still quite cute. I really liked the Lacie and preferred it to similar lacy styles from Victoria's Secret or Aerie. I would love them to expand their color/pattern selections for the Lacie, and I would definitely buy more. The devil is in the details, and I loved the stitched-on tag on the Modal pairs, and though I'm sure lace is different to work with, I would love to see something similar on the Lacie. Overall, I really love MeUndies, and I think anyone seeking well-made undies at a reasonable price should check them out. They also offer some loungewear that I'm dying to try, including hoodies, crewnecks, lounge pants, and joggers. I would love to see MeUndies expand to hyper comfy bralettes, but that's just my 2 cents. Check out MeUndies! AI found this super cool online fashion retailer, Stylewe. Stylewe is so unique because it hosts all these individual designers, mainly from overseas, and allows consumers in the US access to these designers that we'd likely never know about.
A lot of the content on Stylewe is pretty avant-garde, featuring cool silhouettes and shapes that are still fairly wearable, are stuff you could totally see as streetwear during NYFW. There's also a fair portion of more daily wearable pieces too. There are more normal pieces and then edgier, cooler versions. Check out these stylish maxi dresses here for some examples of what you can find on Stylewe. Stylewe is also doing huge holiday sales this month, and you can find their Black Friday and Cyber Monday in 2016 promotions here. Some of the dresses are drastically discounted and would work super well for holiday parties, through the new year. Stylewe did a great job picking out sale items, as there's a great mix of edgy and trendy with classic and versatile. Definitely check out the sales before things sell out or go back to full price. Check out Stylewe here for unique picks that literally no one else is wearing. Also, look below for a few fun styles I love. I was just browsing on SheIn's website, looking for fall outfit inspiration and I pulled together a little outfit inspiration/wishlist post for you guys! This bodysuit is super adorable. The charcoal/ dark heather gray is really versatile, and the lace up front and bell sleeves are very on-trend. I also love this dress. With bell sleeves and a criss cross neckline, it's sure to give off all the witchy vibes we all love. I have a huge crush on this vegan leather motorcycle jacket. The cut is edgy and on trend, and the color makes it unique and eye-catching. This velvet dress is to die for. The deep forrest green will look great through fall and into winter and the cut-out back is sexy yet understated, in all the right ways. I love this baby pink velvet dress. Baby pink velvet is huge right now, and the lace detailing is so beautiful. This mock-turtleneck dress is adorable, and it would play mega nicely with over the knee boots or thigh highs. This dress has the same geometric grid vibe as the one above, but I also love the swing cut of this one. SheIn is so cheap that you don't have to pick one! These slides are very Rihanna for Puma, but I love them so much. They're super fun for errands or just adding some fun. Creepers are super in for fall, and I love the subdued apricot color of these. I love these clear-heeled boots. This is one of my favorite new trends, and I think the black boot pulls of the heel well. Delicate chokers are gorgeous as is, but I love the coin detailing on this one. I love this little bag! It's a more affordable version of a really popular bag, The structure of the bag will bring together any minimalist outfit. Strappy bralettes are all the rage, and I think these are really flattering lines. This simple lace up tee is great for lazy days, simple and comfortable but still on-trend. Kimonos are effortlessly chic, and I love this blue and beige one. Very grecian vibes. I'm super into deep yellows and warm tones for fall, and this vintage-y kimono is everything. Everyone loves a good bomber jacket, and this army green one is sure to look great with everything. Leggings are a fall staple and these have great eyelet lace up detailing. For a slightly edgier legging, I love these faux leather ones. The ripped knees add just the right amount of edge.
Here's my fall lookbook via Polyvore, featuring lots of velvet, mustard yellow, baby pink, dark green, and lots of oranges and reds. Marble textures, chunky heels, slip dresses, and spooky jewelry are all killing it. Click below!

The next is the Elk Embroidery Faux Suede Baseball Hat, which is a really beautiful faux suede, and looks great for casual outfits. The next photo on top is the Cami Solid Color Lace Up Tank Top in Black. This is very on-trend with the recent lace up look, and I may or may not be in love with it. The next photo is the PU Leather Spliced Leggings, which I have an #OOTD coming soon featuring them! They fit really well and look subtle and edgy! I love how good quality the faux leather is, too. The next photo is the Fringe Amethyst Necklace, a cool layered choker with a drop down Amethyst pendant. I am so so in love with it, and I can't wait to wear it. Finally, the last photo is the Adjustable Bar Layered Wrap Necklace, another on-trend piece, The cord is made of faux suede, with really nice metal pieces on the ends.
