This week Halsey released a new track, 'Tokyo Narita Freestyle' a really slow, mellow song, just over two minutes long, which leaves listeners wanting more melancholy beauty. This track feels a lot more honest and emotional, more believable. I'm a huge Halsey fan and I still regularly listen to the entire 'Badlands' album, but some have criticized her for just singing what she thinks people want to hear ("Halsey is a total sellout, corporate tool, blah blah blah...") but I think this rawer side will come much more appreciated.
