We use the tagline 'FIGHT LIKE A GIRL,' so Bruised Knuckles not only is a nod to that, but also implies (heavily) that we're pretty hardcore. \m/
Why do you have so many tabs?/i don't care about half your content. /You aren't writing about things that matter to me./i think you should write about ____________.
We are complex human beings with a variety of interests and things we find important. We also would like to appeal to a wide variety of people so almost anyone can find something to look at on our site. If you would like us to cover something specific, just email us at email@example.com, or tweet at us, and we'll try our best. If you don't care about half our content (and our writing doesn't make you care), I suggest you don't read it.
Are you affiliated/sponsored by/receiving compensation from anyone you write about?
Susan has a working relationship with some of the bands and venues she shoots and occasionally receives free admission. This does not compromise her opinions on any of the bands or venues shot and all opinions are completely un-sponsored. We also occasionally are sent press copies of albums to write about, and along the same lines, ALL OPINIONS ARE STILL VERY MUCH OUR OWN (if you suck, we will say that you suck, sorry)
We are occasionally compensated for articles, however ALL OPINIONS REMAIN HONEST AND OUR OWN. We're not trying to scam you here, and we're all about the truth. We just need to make a living too. If you have any questions as to whether or not something is sponsored, ask us! We'll tell ya.
In the future, as we grow, we are open to the idea and for business inquiries, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. We are, however, occasionally in open dialogues with some of the people we write about. If we have inside information, we're probably tight with them.
I want to join you!
If you're interested in becoming part of our team, head to our CONTRIBUTORS tab and let us know!
Can susan really fit 17 cookies in her mouth at once?
Maybe. Bake her cookies to find out.
Does bruised knuckles have merch?/How can i support you guys?
We do not yet have merch, but it is something we're thinking about in the future. If you have specific ideas, please email email@example.com and we'll take them into consideration. Also, if you want to support us, WE LOVE YOU, and just sharing our posts, telling your friends, liking our Facebook page, following our Tumblr, Instagram, and Twitter and continuing to read is plenty. If you still feel as though we deserve your financial support, please email us!

I disagree with your opinion on _____________.
First, all opinion pieces represent the individual writer's opinion, rather than Bruised Knuckles as a whole. With that said, we stand behind our writers 100%, but we'd love to hear your point of view (different points of view are welcomed so long as they stay respectful and use inclusive language). Leave us a comment below the piece in question and the writer will get back to you. If you have more to say than just a comment, feel free to email us.
your content is too centralized to the northeast.
We're trying to branch out, but it's difficult on a college student's budget. Stay on the lookout for Allison's posts from Rome which will be coming up soon! If you're from another area and would like to contribute, contact us.
Is allison really surrounded by cuddly animals that frequently?
Yes. She is either drawn to their soft furry bodies, or they are drawn to her. I try to think of it as a talent, or I'd be a little creeped out.
Hey you guys misquoted me./that's my picture you're using and i'm not credited./i'd prefer you to cite me in this way ____________./can you please use these pronouns instead?
Oops! We're sorry! We're only human and do (sometimes) make mistakes. We'd love to fix the error and give you proper credit and make sure you're being referred to in a way that you prefer. Please email us at email@example.com and we'll correct our mistake as quickly as we can.
is it safe to use your website?/What information are you stealing from me?/do you track your users?
Short answer: Yes, Bruised Knuckles is safe. We are not stealing information from you. We are not stalking you.
i think you're violAting a copyright and i'm going to sue you.
Please don't? Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can resolve the issue, we can barely afford fun things, let alone legal fees. We're not aiming to use any photos/etc. that we're not allowed to, and if we did, it was very much an honest mistake.
What is the meaning of life?
Hell if we know?
WHAt's the deal with your logo?
Our lovely friend Tyler Aldieri hooked us up with our sick logo, and we love him very much. We are always open to new ideas and designs, but right now we love what Tyler made us. Thanks Tyler!
Is anna still working for bruised knuckles?
No, Anna left Bruised Knuckles to pursue other interests, but she did help make Bruised Knuckles what it is today. We're all still on great terms, and you can find her on Twitter if you want to keep up with her shenanigans.
If we're missing your question, please email us at email@example.com and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
