The best meal I ate while visiting Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina last month was at Klopa (Ferhadija 5). I loved the restaurant interior; it was very colorful and reminded me of a garden. There was an abundance of plants hanging from the wall (always a good sign), and bright furniture.
With a variety of meals available (pizza, pasta, burgers, desserts, coffee), the prices are incredibly cheap compared to Dubrovnik and U.S. restaurants. I ordered a veggie burger, American pancakes, and a Turkish coffee for less than 14KM (or $7.70). The burger was delicious, the first real veggie burger I found in Southeastern Europe. I was so overjoyed to have finally found something I could eat that reminded me of home.
