Sunflower Bean By Susan McLean

Sunflower Bean is self proclaimed "night music." Their newest release- I Hear Voices/The Stalker is very reminiscent of The Velvet Underground. I recently found them through Tumblr and was drawn in by the psychedelic yet melodic rock n roll vibes. 

Initially I recommend listening to I Hear Voices and Somebody Call A Doctor, then moving on to The Stalker and the rest of their discography.

This is the type of stuff you picture the cool kids in movies listening to as they drive around their small towns in the dead of night, lights blurring and streaking by, running away from their problems. 

They recently pressed a limited number of 7" copies of their latest release and are touring the UK soon.
