I really like this foundation for what it is, but I don't think it's the best on the market.
It does provide #thatblurtho and I do notice it blurring imperfections and pores but it's not as long lasting as I would want it to be. I like to set it with Coty Airspun powder, but I find it will leave me shiny at noon. I like the foundation for a night out, rather than for a full weekend day of wear or a day of work. I was lucky enough to receive two tubes of the foundation along with the applicator in my free Vox Box, but I apply the foundation over a primer and definitely not with the provided applicator, which I hate. I use a Real Techniques sponge and even though I lose product in the sponge, it's worth it for a smoother, quicker application. I like the foundation a lot, I don't love it. I would recommend it though, and I feel like it does what it says it does. The foundation is fairly full coverage, comparable to other lightweight medium to full coverage foundations. I was very skeptical of Milk, due to the influx of crappy social media brands, but I'm starting to believe they're the real deal. The sili-sponge? That's a no for me, dawg. It slips and slides foundation around and leaves lines. I don't like how it applies foundation or concealer, or any cream product. I think though it's adorable and the packaging is adorable, it's not worth your money. I received this for free in my Vox Box but I haven't reached for it since I initially tried it out. The claim is that you don't lose any product in it, like you would in a sponge, but that's the whole point of the sponge. It absorbs product to provide a more even flawless distribution of foundation to make you look more flawless. This just slips and slides foundation all around into a hot mess that is your face. I think if you're that concerned about losing product in your sponge, be sure to dampen it before use so it absorbs less product, but the reason sponges work so well is because of that absorption. Save your money for a Real Techniques sponge or a beauty blender.
