Oil Slick Hair By Allison Pinski

Many brunettes are rejoicing in the fact that they can have rainbow-colored hair without having to strip their dark locks to blonde. Oil slick hair is the use of colors (mainly blues, greens, and purples) on top of dark hair to resemble an oil spill.

I found some of the best examples of oil slick hair on Instagram for you to look at below. My favorite oil slick style is by Guy Tang, since it’s colorful but also very muted and subtle.
