Halloween calls for bright and bold makeup, with colors or new techniques you wouldn’t otherwise wear on a normal basis. I’ve included some basics for Halloween makeup below, so no matter what costume you choose, you’ll be ready. NYX Wicked Lippies (Image from here). While all of these colors are perfect for the Halloween season, my personal favorites are Betrayal, Sinful, Cold-hearted, and Envy. Urban Decay Electric Pressed Pigment Palette (Image from here). This palette offers the best and brightest eye shadow colors that will pop on any skin tone. My favorites are Fringe and Freak. MAC Pigments (Image from here). MAC offers high-quality pigments in a variety of colors. This product is perfect for long-wear, or if you want a very strongly pigmented eye makeup. NYX Macaron Lippies (Image from here). My favorites in this collection by NYX are Lavender, Blue Velvet, Key Lime, and Chambord. MAC Rocky Horror Picture Show Collection (2014) (Image from here). Even though this collection is nearly a year old, it is still offers some of the best Halloween makeup. I especially love the glitter (in Gold and 3D Black) and nail polishes (in Bad Fairy and Formidable). It may difficult to find products from this collection available for sale, as it is a year old. I suggest looking at Amazon or Ebay to start. Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick (Image from here). The perfect Halloween shades from this collection are Slayer, Poe, Gothica, Coven, and Vampira. NYX Special Effects Lashes (Image from here). NYX makes some of the best fake eyelashes I’ve ever used, and these special effects ones are no exception. If your costume requires crazy eyelashes, I definitely suggest looking into this collection. If you’re unable to find the pair you like through Ulta, try looking at the Blanc to Noir shop.
