If you weren’t turned away by that awful pun, you may be wondering why I’m choosing to write about tea. You’d be surprised at how beneficial drinking tea can be (as opposed to many of the other drinks out there). Tea has many medicinal and health benefits that you were probably unaware of (I was too).

But after doing some research, I’ve gathered some interesting facts about different teas for you to look at below.

According to WebMD;
“Regarded for thousands of years in the East as a key to good health, happiness, and wisdom, tea has caught the attention of researchers in the West, who are discovering the many health benefits of different types of teas.

Studies have found that some teas may help with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes; encourage weight loss; lower cholesterol; and bring about mental awareness. Tea also appears to have antimicrobial qualities.”
If you want to read more about different teas and their benefits, check out some of the articles below!

Personally, I love lemon, lavender, and mint teas. I usually buy Lipton or Bigelow, as they’re relatively cheap and sold in almost every standard grocery store. I’ve also heard good things about Yogi and Traditional Medicinals as well.

Do some research, as there are many different types of teas for you to choose from; fruity, calming, green, organic, black, vanilla, etc.
